Lipura Takes Helm as New ACPAPP Southern Mindanao Region President

Greenstate Convention Center – March 2, 2024: The ACPAPP Southern Mindanao Chapter celebrated a significant milestone with the successful induction and turnover ceremony of its new leadership on March 2, 2024, in Koronadal City, South Cotabato.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of National President Maria Elma "Minette" Ilagan-Ame, who oversaw the official installation of Michael Lipura as the new chapter president. The ceremony drew a diverse crowd, including representatives from the Bureau of Internal Revenue RDO 111, the Department of Trade and Industry Region XII, and key figures from the ACPAPP National Office. Leaders from various regional PICPA chapters also attended, underscoring the strong collaborative spirit within the professional accounting community.

The induction ceremony marked the beginning of a new era for the ACPAPP Southern Mindanao Region. Under the leadership of Michael Lipura, the chapter is poised to embrace the core principles of Good Governance, Resilience, Integrity, and Teamwork – the GRIT that defines its vision for the future. With a strong foundation and a commitment to these values, the chapter is well-positioned to make a significant impact on the region and the accounting profession as a whole.

The ACPAPP Southern Mindanao Region is pleased to announce the new council officers for the terms 2024-2025. The leadership team, led by President Mr. Michael S. Lipura, is comprised of experienced professionals dedicated to serving the accounting profession in the region. The officers include Atty. Angelo Andro M. Suan as Executive Vice President, Mark Louie D. Mahinay as Secretary, Atty. Maria Lina F. Baura as Treasurer, Janet G. Taojo - Matuguinas as Auditor, Gertrudes L. Yap as Director of Membership Development, Allan Basarte as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility, Lily D. Viray as Director of Fellowship and Special Events, Nenita R. Malbas as Adviser and Regional Director, and Jonas Mascarinas as Ex Officio. Under their leadership, the chapter is poised for continued growth and success.
